I'm currently taking prednisone for my chronic condition and I need to refill it soon. My doctor initially prescribed me 10mg twice daily for two weeks, then tapering down gradually over the next few weeks. However, now that I’m close to finishing the current prescription, I’ve noticed some of my symptoms returning. I'm not sure if this is just part of the natural course or a sign that I need another refill.
I want to ensure I don’t overuse it as I've read about potential side effects from prolonged use. Any advice on how best to approach my doctor for a refill would be greatly appreciated!
